R.I.P. to the Altima,Happy Bday to the Lexus + Song Snippet
So this post is loooong overdue. For those of you who read my blog, yet don’t personally know me, I was in a bad car accident back in January 2010. One that could have ended up alot worse than it did. Can’t really get into the details due to legal reasons, but in a nutshell, some idiot ran a red light and essentially merked the hell out of my Nissan Altima, and almost merked me and my 3 homies in the car in the process(Shout out to Crispy D, Norway & Nick).
I won’t even lie…it was probably one of the scariest things to happen to me. It’s crazy that I don’t really remember anything about the accident itself. I went from going through a green light intersection, to seeing homie in my passenger seat w/ blood all over his face …straight to being helped out of my car by the homies. Apparently i was even unconscious for minutes after the accident. We left in ambulances(again I’m leaving out stuff here). To make a long story short, I ended up w/ about 8 stitches above my eyebrow, and limited mobility in my neck and shoulder. The homies ended up w/ similar injuries…but we were lucky to walk away with injuries that weren’t too serious.
So what did my car look like?
What kind of Car do I drive now?

Both of those are actual pics of the new ride. A Lexus IS 250(who me?)..Yeah I came up like a mug, lol…I call it “Black Dynamite”….but at the expense of what?
I learned a lot from this crazy situation. Everything from realizing who your real friends are; to being humbled to the point where you have no choice but to ask for help; to realizing that life is too short to not enjoy it to the fullest. But those are thoughts for another post. I didn’t really want to get too deep here, but expect a post on how this situation changed my life at some point in 2010.
So, without further adieu, here’s a snippet from the song inspired by the accident, “I Coulda Died” from my upcoming mixtape “Identity Crisis”…it’s coming alot sooner than you think. By the way, the first verse was recorded the day after the accident…swollen tongue/pain/shock and everything…
